BANGALORE: Every now and then we keep hearing the news of politicians being publicly insulted. The trend of such incidents have captured the limelight after the then U.S. President George W Bush was shoed by a journalist. Such incidents seem to have become a favorite tool for many attackers to vent out their confined frustration towards the leaders of the country.

1. Footwear Tossed at Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda (Feb 16, 2014)
Recently, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda came under attack when a farmer allegedly threw a shoe at him. The incident took place while he was addressing a gathering during an official program at Dabwali.  Ram, a resident of Nathusari village in Sirsa, had been taken into custody on account of the attack. Not just this, a week before this incident, Hooda was also slapped by a man named Kamal Mukhija during a road show in Panipat. Mukhija, who was instantly grabbed by the security personnel, admitted to have attacked the CM to express anger for being unemployed for long.
