2. Carlos Slim
The telecom tycoon, with assets worth 72 billion dollars, takes the second spot of the list. , Carlos Slim and his brothers learned business tactics from his father. Carlos, at the age of 12 bought shares in a Mexican bank. Later, he started working for his father’s company where he earned 200 pesos( Lebanese currency) a week. After graduating from college, Civil Engineering, (National Autonomous University of Mexico) he went on to become a trader to gain experience in business. to become a billionaire, when in 1982 the Mexican economy crashed, Carlos invested which proved to be a boom for him later. He also is the owner of mining, financial, industrial, and real estate companies. With his old world style, he is a billionaire with a difference.
