BANGALORE: Hay Group partnered with FORTUNE magazine to conduct the World’s Most Admired Companies survey to reveal the business practices that make these companies both highly considered and successful. FORTUNE determines the industry groupings by using the Fortune 1000 listing and the Global 500 listing. According to them, companies in the 26 international industries must have approximately $10 billion in revenue and rank among the 15 largest by revenue within their industry.

This year too, the list has names of successful companies whose products you may be using and it would definitely interest you to know how these companies manage to be on top every year.  

1. Apple

Apple is known to everyone, it is the iconic tech company known for iPhone and other stylish and user-friendly products. It is back in the top spot on this year’s list, for the seventh year in a row. Apple is one of the most valuable brands according to Interbrand, which brought in $171 billion in revenues in FY2013.

Recently apple is ready to launch its next product namely iPhone 6. Never has a product launch generated such curiosity and debate in public. This tells something about how people admireApple over other brands in the world.
