Bangalore: India is boasting about its growth towards an e-economy, and more than anybody else it’s the Government who promote its transparent e-Governance. There is no doubt it will make our life easier- No more long queues to pay the bills, no more delays in getting the services done- sounds really nice but the bitter fact is, once you visit these websites which are intended to provide you services, you will feel the traditional queue system was much better. The websites are cluttered with navigational issues, design, usability flaws and are hardly updated.

It is really shame to a country, which has uncountable number of technology talents and where even a 15 year old kid can develop websites which are far better in usability and design than these Government websites.

Here we list some of the most unfriendly websites owned by the Indian Government.

#9 UPSC

Undoubtedly, one of the websites visited by youngsters, who aspire to serve their country, is Union Public Service Commission of India, which handles the majority of the central government examinations for posts of officer ranks in different departments. However, once you check the website, you will know why most of the people won’t even consider applying for exams. The site maintained by Information Systems Wing- UPSC, is apparently filled with crazy coloured links, which are more than enough to confuse anyone who enters it.

2: 1. Why does your site show up the Bharat Matrimony pop up EACH time we click the next button! talk about people living in glass houses NOT throwing stones at others.
2. Why does your site NOT link to these mentioned "poorly designed" websites.. I thought being on the web meant that you could "link" stuff up!!! and not make the user open a new window and "search" for what you mention...
