Bollywood celebrities have been abuzz with congratulations following India's Men's hockey team’s remarkable bronze medal win at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The team’s victory has sparked a wave of admiration and support from some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.
Sunny Deol took to Instagram to express his pride, sharing a post that celebrated both Neeraj Chopra’s silver medal and the hockey team’s bronze. He wrote, “Immensely proud of #NeerajChopra and #IndianHockeyTeam for winning #parisolympics2024 #Silver and #Bronze Respectively”. Deol praised the hockey team for “carrying forward the legacy that Khel Ratna Dhyanchand has laid in golden words for Indian Hockey”, adding, “Proud #HindustanZindabad”.

This win marks India’s first consecutive bronze medals in hockey at the Olympics since the 1972 Munich Games.
