Vikrant, Rasika, and Adarsh to Represent Young Voices of Indian Cinema at IFFM 2024

Bollywood stars Vikrant Massey, Rasika Dugal, and Adarsh Gourav are set to represent the young voices of Indian cinema at the 15th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024.
Vikrant Massey, who began his career with Indian television shows such as 'Dhoom Machao Dhoom' and 'Balika Vadhu', has appeared in films like 'Lootere', 'Chhapaak', 'Cargo', 'Lipstick Under My Burkha', and 'Haseen Dillruba'. His role in '12th Fail' earned him significant recognition.
Rasika Dugal, known for her performances in 'Delhi Crime', 'Manto', 'Mirzapur', 'Qissa', and 'Hamid', expressed her excitement about being part of IFFM. "It’s a privilege to be part of stories that push boundaries while staying true to themselves. Festivals like IFFM allow us to share our stories with a diverse and discerning audience, celebrating the diversity of Indian cinema", she said.
Adarsh Gourav, who gained international fame with 'The White Tiger' and will soon appear in Ridley Scott's “Alien” web series, shared his enthusiasm about participating in the festival. "Indian cinema has a unique voice, rooted in tradition and continuously evolving. I am thrilled to discuss its global reach and innovative storytelling at IFFM. It’s an exciting journey, and I look forward to engaging with audiences and fellow filmmakers", he said.
The trio will join a live discussion panel at IFFM 2024, focusing on the current landscape of Indian cinema and their individual journeys in the industry.
The Indian Film Festival of Melbourne 2024 will run from August 15 to August 25, showcasing the rich diversity and dynamic storytelling of Indian cinema.
