Regular MBA

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program at Symbiosis Institute of Business Management Bangalore (SIBM-B) offers an astute blend of theory and practice.

The first year of MBA Program provides the student thorough foundation in the core functional areas of Management such as Economics, Accounting, Quantitative Technique, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR and others. At the end of the first year, the students are required to undergo a Summer Internship Project (SIP) of an approximately eight-week duration which is a vital building block of the MBA Program. It offers opportunities to get first-hand exposure to the corporate environment and putting learning into practice.

The second year comprises specializations & electives offered in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Operations and Human Resources Management. Research based CIS (Course of Independent Studies) and choice based electives outside one's area of specialization, offered in the 4th semester, add flexibility to a well designed curriculum. These courses are conducted by the faculty of SIBM Bangalore and noted professionals from Industry and Academia in a highly interactive learner-centred manner.
