About NITTE School of Management (NSM), Bangalore
Nitte Education Trust, established in 1979, is a well-known leader in higher education. Nitte Education Trust was founded by the committed philanthropist and legal luminary Justice KS Hegde who strongly believed that education was pivotal to the overall progress of a community. The group includes the well-known industrialist- Mr. NV Hegde and eminent educationist- Dr. NR Shetty (twice Vice-Chancellor of Bangalore University and presently President of ISTE) who shares the same concern and commitment to the cause of community development.

At NSM, we know that excelling in the rapidly changing world of business is the greatest challenge organizations are facing today. Our programs provide powerful tools for facilitating meaningful organizational change in important areas such as: improving strategy development and implementation processes, creating a high-performance culture, managing growth and innovation, and developing leadership capabilities. During the formative years, the Trust managed a number of institutions in Nitte (Dakshina Kannada District, Karnataka) and Mangalore. To spread the Trust’s mission of affordable quality education to other parts of Karnataka and India, various institutions of learning have been established.

The Trust has been successfully established two institutions offering PGDM programs. These institutions, at Nitte and Bangalore, have evolved into dynamic and leading institutions and made a mark in management education. While these two programs are being conducted in affiliation with State-level Universities (Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum), the new NITTE School of Management (NSM, Bangalore) is an autonomous institution offering a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management.


Courses Offered:
Executive PGDM General Management    
PGDM General Management

Specializations on offer include Financial Management, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, IT Management and International Business Management.


Eligibility:
Graduates with minimum of 50% marks from any State / University equivalent and must have a valid score in any of the entrance test conducted at National Level viz CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CET etc, and any entrance test conducted at National Level for admissions to PG Courses in Management (Including Deemed University). Candidates appearing for final year graduate exam are also eligible.


Placement details
PGDM Curriculum is designed as per Industry needs: PGDM curriculum is designed according to the needs of the Industry. The courses are updated every trimester as per the changing needs of the industry.
Experts from industry, IIM’s &IIT’s are involved in designing the courses. Our students have demonstrated their competency during their employment interviews and the employer’s have recognized the advantages of employing our PGDM students.

NSM provides 100 % placement assistance to all the students. NSM has achieved 100% placement for past batches and students of past batches are well placed in organizations like Vijaya Bank, Canara Bank, ANZ Bank, Global Multi Vista Limited, Anderson Limited, ICICI Bank, Lakshmi Vilas Bank, Oracle,  E& Y, Shopper’s Stop etc and the institute is getting best feedback from all the employers about the performance of students.

NSM has also entered MoU with several organizations and industry associations for student internships and placements and this will further improve the placement opportunities for students in future. The faculty at NSM actively involve and work very closely with students to ensure high quality internship programs and explore the possibility of placing the students in the same organizations where they carry out the internships.
