Bangalore: Xavier Labour Relations institute (XLRI) announced the exam dates of their national level exam, Xavier's Admission Test (XAT). The exam is to be held on 8, January, 2012. The registration for the exam starts on 20 September, 2011.
XAT has three sections that have to be answered- data Interpretation and Quantitative Ability, Analytical reasoning and Decision Making and verbal and Logic Ability. Each of the given questions has five choices. 120 minutes are given to answer the test. After the objective test, there is an essay of 20 minutes.
On the basis of XAT result, eligible candidates are short listed and called for Group Discussion, Essay and Personal Interview (GDPI). There are more than 70 Management Institutes who select students based on XAT.
Candidates are required to have acquired a Bachelor's degree under 10+2+3 system from a recognized university or a deemed university. Those completing their final examination may also apply.
