Here's a list of the business icons most of the MBA students look up to.

Ratan Tata
A survey that acquired the views in India's top running MBA schools showed that Ratan Naval Tata has been recognized as the most respected and admired business leader from most of the MBA schools. Chairman of the Tata Group since 1991, the 70 year old is appreciated not only in India but in the world over.

Awarded by the government of India with a PadmaBhushan in 2008, he has an income net worth $1 billion. Apparently, he doesn't not appear in the Forbes' list of Indian millionaires as a considerable number of shares of Tata Sons is held by charitable trusts.

N R Narayana Murthy
Almost close to Mr. Tata is the co-founder, non-executive chairman and a chief counselor of India’s most famous and best recognized software firm, Infosys Technologies Ltd.

Nagavara Ramarao Narayana Murthy with six other engineers founded Infosys in 1981 and was the CEO until 2002. Around 33 percent of MBA students admire him for his outstanding entrepreneurial skills.

Kumar Mangalam Birla
Chairman of the Aditya Birla group, one of India's largest corporations, Kumar Managalam Birla happens to be one among the world's youngest billionaires worth $10billion. He is recognized among the top favorites of MBA students for his dedication and an inspiration to all the youth in the country.

Azim Premji
A philanthropist and a great Indian business tycoon, Azim Hashim Premji, the Chairman of Wipro Limited has been consistent enough to drive the company through four decades of growth and transpire it to one of the world's foremost software company.

Having transformed the family's vegetable oil business to India's second largest software firm, he was voted among the top 20 powerful men in the world. His simplicity, generous attitude and a life balanced with adventure and education draws the youth towards him.
