SRMJEEE 2015 Results: To be declared on May 4

The SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Exam 2015 (SRMJEEE 2015) was conducted by the Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University on April 19. It was held for admissions to B.Tech programmes offered by the SRM University, Chennai. The exam was conducted via the online mode from April 19 to April 22 and the offline exam was held on April 26. The university is likely to declare the results for SRM JEEE on May 4.

SRM University offers B.Tech programmes in Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and 14 other branches of engineering. It conducts undergraduate admissions across its four campuses, located in Ghaziabad, Kattankulathur, Vadapalani and Ramapuram.

The candidates for SRMJEEE 2015 were given the option to choose from 102 online and offline centres, in 50 different cities across India. More than 1.75 lakh candidates had registered and appeared for the competitive exam. The examination was divided into four parts, each consisting of 35 questions and carrying 105 marks i.e. a total of 315 marks for the entire paper. The candidates were tested on their knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology. The paper also had negative marking, for each wrong answer in the Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics sections there was one negative mark, and for each wrong answer in the Biology section, 0.7 marks were deducted.

The result will be displayed on the monitor screens.

The counselling for the candidates who will qualify is likely to be held in the third week of May.
