MAT September 2011 dates have been announced

The dates for the Management Aptitude Test of Sept., 2011 have been announced by the All India Management Association (AIMA). This is the third MAT exam of the year, the paper pencil based MAT will take place on Sunday, 4th Sept., 2011. The computer based one will be from Saturday, 10th Sept., 2011 onwards.

The duration of the test will be of 2.5 hours, for the paper pencil based test it will take place from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm while the computer based test will take place in different time slots. The sale of MAT September 2011 application forms will start from Friday, 1st July.

Application Process:

Graduates and those students in final year of graduation can apply. Last date for sale of Applications Forms is Friday, 12th August, 2011. The last date for the form submission is on Tuesday, 16th August, 2011.

You can get these forms from some select branches of Bank of Baroda, Axis Bank with an application fee of Rs. 1,200 or from Study Centers of AIMA with application fee of Rs. 1,050. You can fill an online application by visiting www.aima-ind.org/matfeb11.

The candidates should obtain their Admit Cards seven days before their tests, they will start getting it from Saturday, 27th August, 2011. Registered candidates can download their Admit Cards from the AIMA website, http://www.aima-ind.org/mat_centre.aspx.

The list of Test Centers and the participating B-schools will be announced by AIMA on the 1st of July 2011, same as the day when the sale of forms will begin.

Admissions are now open for two-year MBA (Agribusiness Management) programme from 2012-13 academic section along with its flagship (Rural Management).

Eligibility: Graduates in any discipline with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA for MBA(RM) and Graduate in
Agriculture or any allied ¬eld with minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) for MBA(ABM)

Selection: Short-listing through IRMA Written Test scores or national level exams - CAT, XAT, MAT or TISS.
The shortlisted candidates will be called for GD/PI to Bhubaneswar/Bangalore/Delhi/Kolkatta/Mumbai.
