Bangalore: Infosys Limited today announced signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore Management University (SMU).
Under this three-year agreement, Infosys Education & Research and SMUâs School of Information Systems would work together to develop training programme content for Infosys employees as well as case studies and learning labs for SMUâs Bachelor of Science (IS Management) and Master of IT in Business degree programmes.
In addition to co-creating training content and curriculum material, the MoU provides for Infosys and SMU to jointly conduct seminars and tutorials in person or through conferencing, to facilitate faculty and professional staff visits to their counterpartsâ offices, campuses and locations, and for collaboration on research and pedagogy projects of mutual interest to Infosys and SMU.
The MoU was signed by Professor Steven Miller, Dean, SMU School of Information Systems, and Srikantan Moorthy, Senior Vice President & Group Head, Education & Research, Infosys Limited, the Bangalore-headquartered IT major said in a statement.
Moorthy said the agreement opens up new areas of cooperation between academia and the IT industry to enhance the reach of quality education. PTI
