We are pleased to inform that IIBS has participated in one of the unique events of a book launch at The Coffee Day Lounge on Monday at 5pm. Mr. Elango, Chief Human Resources Officer at Mphasis who has launched his new book titled ‘You Don't Need a Godfather’. The book is about success and provides you with no-nonsense, proven methods to navigate and succeed in the complex and sometimes scary workplace.

This book launch was a good opportunity for our students who are going to enter a corporate environment and begin their career. This event gave them an opportunity to meet and interact with Mr. Elango who shared his experience and valuable insights on what to expect at a work place and how to navigate and successfully resolve tricky situations.

Seen as a mentor and coach to both leaders and new entrants into the corporate world, Elango has always made himself accessible and offered his advice to help people achieve their goals. His deep industry knowledge of Banking, Financial Services, IT and IT enabled Services, Manufacturing, Consulting and Hospitality coupled with his experience in managing a global workforce, enable Elango to provide a perspective that resonates with his coachees.

The book was released by Pankaj Advani, ace billiards player and theatre personality Ms. Munira Sen.

The book is written in a conversational tone with doses of humor, sarcasm and interesting stories. Add to the mix, seven-year-old Agastya, who brings clarity to our cluttered lives with his childlike utterances. You will find yourself nodding and smiling as you read and realize many of the tales in this book could be cut from your own experiences.

We would like to thank our college for the support and encouragement they’ve given us. We also thank Café Coffe Day for organizing such events that provides the youth the platform for improving their skills and talents.
