Graduation Day Function at IIKM Business School

Chennai: “The Graduation Day” for the alumni of International Institute of Knowledge Management (IIKM Business School), which embarked on its MBA program, was held on January 11, 2014. The alumni were conferred with degrees. Ms Rakhee Sabu, CEO, IIKM, expressed her joy in welcoming the august gathering to the new campus and reiterated many times in her address that this magical moment would always be treasured by her. Mr. R N Sabu, Director, IIKM, in his speech advised the students and told them the need to continuously upgrade their knowledge and skills. An impressive  report on the academic year 2013-14 was presented by Prof. Chitra Mukunnan , Head of Management Studies,  which was followed by the handing over of  the  Certificates of Degree  to the students, by the two Chief Guests.  The Outgoing student of each year was also recognized with a plaque.  Prof. Sundar.T.Raghavachari, Director, Academics, administered the oath there by binding the students down to pursue an ethical profession.

The Chief Guests Dr. M J Xavier, Executive Director, VIT University & former Director IIM Ranchi,  Mr. K Pandiarajan, MD & CEO at Mafoi Strategic Pvt Ltd and Non Executive Chairman, Randstad India Limited, spoke on the importance of honing the right skills and always staying rooted to the ground.  Equally inspiring were the speeches of Mr. P Vijayaraghavan, Director, Sri Chakra Tyres Ltd and Dr. T. Rangarajan, Educational Consultant.  After listening to the speeches of the honorable speakers,   students felicitated the efforts of IIKM and going down the memory lane they were grateful for the inputs that they had received from IIKM.  The ceremony came to an end with an apt Vote of Thanks by Academic Coordinator Mr. Soorya.

Post lunch, which was hosted by IIKM, the present students put up an eye feasting entertainment program for the alumni.  There was a lot of fun, laughter and bonding – past and the present.
