Bangalore: INC Adam Smith Institute of Managementâs entrance exam- ASMAT 2012 is to be held in mid-February 2012. INC offers education programs in different areas of management, finance, banking and insurance for its Masterâs program. INC and ASIM are the constituents of the ICFAI Academy.
The application form was available from the first week of December 2011 to the last week of January 2012. The last date to submit completed forms is the first week of February 2012. You can submit the form online by downloading and submitting the application form online: www.asmat.in and make your payment through Credit Card or Debit Card or pay through cash at the institute. The MBA Program of the University prepares the students with the skills, knowledge and strategic perspectives essential to the leadership of business anywhere in the world. The MBA Program is designed to provide both a portfolio of strong functional skills and the ability to apply, adapt and integrate those skills in different management settings. Each candidate has to make a presentation on a selected topic for 5-7 minutes. The list of topics will be provided in the selection kit.
The interview is the final stage of the selection process and will be focused on testing the knowledge of the candidate on the topic presented in the micro presentation and understanding the attitude, aptitude and aspirations of the candidate.
Each student must choose eight electives. While four of these electives must be from a single stream, the others can be from any stream. A bachelorâs degree from any discipline, with 50% and above as calculated by respective University. Students in their final year bachelorâs degree course are also eligible to apply. Such applicants will have to produce a certificate to that effect at the time of admission. For any extension of this deadline, the applicants should apply separately, giving the schedule of their graduation examination.
Extension may be granted on the basis of the circumstances of the case. The admission of applicants will however, remain provisional until they produce mark sheets and a degree certificate establishing their eligibility.
