ACCURATE - AIMA 9th National Student Quiz 2013

Management Quiz Contest on 6th April, 2013 held at Accurate Group of Institutions, Greater Noida
Accurate Group of Institutions awarded as "Asiaâs Best B School", is one of the leading institution offering a wide range of courses pertaining to different fields, organized 9th Student Management Quiz – 2013, with its strategic partner, AIMA, the premier association of management professionals, an inter college quiz competition focused to facilitate the budding managers for demonstrating their knowledge and skills which they have acquired during two years’ program.
This being not only the regional round, but also the grand finale, with teams coming from all the various regions, it was a great honour and responsibility, entrusted by AIMA. The event started with the regional round held at Patna on 23rd Feb, 13, and simultaneously, other regional round were conducted at various cities, throughout India. Out of 24 teams that qualified in the regional round, only 6 qualified for the final round.
The event commenced at 9:00 a.m. on with the registration of participants, followed by details about the event, and the institute. The quiz master Mr. Harneet Singh started the oral round at 11:00am, followed by the addressed by the Guest of Honour, Mr. Ajay Ghosh, Sr. V.P. Dharampal Satyapal Group. The results of the regional round were announced at 12:30 pm, and mementos presented to AIMA delegates by Dr. K. L. Chawla, Director-AIMT and Dr. Rajeev Bhardwaj, Director-ABS.
The afternoon session commenced at 12:45 pm, the Group Director, Ms. Poonam Sharma, shared her views on the rapid spread of commoditization of goods and services, growing competition, and the emerging expectations of consumers, she stressed the need of budding managers to take complex decisions, and execute their strategies effectively with the across the diverse Indian and multicultural global organizations. This needs the students be agile, and committed to their professional development, not only at Accurate, but also throughout their career. She added, the pedagogy at Accurate polishes their problem solving skills, improves the analytical skills and helps them make informed decisions, in the fast changing business environment, and was confident about the Accuratian’s ability to take challenges with confidence and vision. The Group Director’s message was followed by welcome address by Ms. Rekha Sethi, Director AIMA, followed by the final round of quiz, which ended by a brief address by the chief guest, Mr. Pankaj Gupta, Head Sales, Inalsa. The results were announced by the quiz master and AIMA delegate. Prof. Susheel Pasricha, proposed the vote of thanks.
