ISME - Post Graduate Program in Management, Major Specialization in Marketing, Finance, Information Technology or Human Resource Management
Students seeking admission to this program should have passed Bachelor / Master Degree Examination of any recognized education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates should also have appeared for one of the Management Aptitude Tests and performed well on the test.
Work experience will be an important consideration for admissions
Students opting for Information Technology Specialization, must have Bachelors degree in Engineering any discipline / Computer Science or experience in IT.
You will be called for an interview with a panel of experts if we feel that you have a strong potential to be a successful candidate. These interviews will be held during February, March, April and May.

Course Objective: The PGPM course is designed with an objective to provide management knowledge needed for entry to mid-level executives. There is also a strong focus on skill building like communication and personality. Further, students specialize in a functional area and in some industries within the functional area so that they can align themselves to industry requirements.

Introduction
Six Sigma Black Belt Course Work Certification
ISME students are trained on Six Sigma concepts with a strong orientation towards application and problem solving. This is being further enhanced with the integrated programme on Six Sigma Black Belt Course Work certification. Students initially undergo a course to get a Green Belt Course Work Certification as a part of the programme. After the complete coursework, students do an applied project work for a period of three months in the area of their specialization. After the completion, students come back to the campus for the Black Belt Course Work certification.
Brief About Six Sigma
Six Sigma is a business improvement methodology, originally developed by Motorola to systematically improve processes by eliminating defects. Defects are defined as unacceptable deviation from the mean or target. The objective of Six Sigma is to deliver high performance, reliability, and value to the end customer.
In addition to Motorola, companies which also adopted Six Sigma methodologies early-on and continue to practice it today include Honeywell International (previously known as Allied Signal), Raytheon and General Electric (introduced by Jack Welch). The three companies have reportedly saved billions of dollars thanks to the aggressive implementation and daily practice of Six Sigma methodologies.
Six Sigma initiatives has become a rage in the western world as well as in developing countries like India.
