About Global Institute for Corporate Education, GICE – B School: 

Global Institute for Corporate Education (GICE) was established under the aegis of Sri Sankara Charity. Flip Learning Method: The flip learning method,  invented in Stanford University, is a unique teaching methodology which reverses the learning process. In the traditional method, the students are taught theoretical concepts in class and application to be derived at home. However, in the flip learning method, the students learn the concepts at home and discuss the application in the classroom. Students receive instant feedback in the class and also the questions jotted down by each student from their study are answered individually. 

Collaborative Learning Method: In this method, a group of students come together to study or learn along with the instructor as opposed to the traditional method of learning. With this as core learning method, the students are able to optimize their strengths and improve on their weaknesses. GICE observed that the students who study on their own tend to lose motivation due to the monotony and lose interest over a period of time. By implementing the collaborative learning methodology, the students tend to be more focused and pro-active as they study in a group.

Academic Resources and Faculty

About 80 percent of the faculty members at GICE have over 6 to 7 years of managerial experience which is a huge advantage for the students as they will have excellent subject knowledge and are able to communicate lessons effectively. 

The Institute has auditorium styled classrooms, seminar hall, syndicate rooms, auditorium, computer lab, English lab, and a library. The Audio Visual room at GICE is equipped with LCD projectors, digital surround sound, video-conferencing and flipchart facilities, Wi-Fi access etc, among its other sophisticated features. Eligibility for admission:

1. Post graduate program: Any Graduate with 50% on graduation can apply for the post graduation Program

2. Undergraduate program: Any Candidate with 40% in PUC or 12th standard can apply

• Personal Interview (Students should possess a 500 composite in MAT or should score in CAT/KMAT/XAT with minimum 50 percentile score.)
