AIMCET 2013 MCA


All India MCA Common Entrance Test has been recognized with some of the highest esteemed because of the high standard as well as the level of transparency involved. The Test is conducted for candidates who are seeking to undertake admission in the IIT for the course of Computer Application at the post graduate level. The examination has been deemed as the most reputed entrance exam held for undertaking admission in the PG based degree for the course of Computer Application.

Eligibility:

1. The candidate must be of Indian nationality.

2. The candidate must also have passed class 12th examination in any stream with mathematics as a main subject.

3. The candidate should also be a graduate with at least 3 year degree.

4. The candidate appearing for the final year examination can also apply for MCA examination.

Examination pattern:

1. Mathematics – 100 Questions

2. Computer Awareness – 40 Questions

3. Analytical ability & Logical Reasoning –  40 Questions

4. General Awareness –20 Questions

About The Examination:

The last date of the receipt of the form is generally kept in the end of April. The admit cards are then dispatched by the mid of May, and the examination is held in the 1st week of June. Though the dates for AIMCET 2013 is not yet announced, it is believed that probably it will lie somewhere in the first week of June 2013.

BHU MCA Entrance Exam


Banaras Hindu University conducts Undergraduate and Postgraduate Entrance Tests for admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses at national level.

Eligibility:

Candidates who are Indian and have passed or are appearing in the Bachelor's degree final examination in any discipline from any recognized university with Mathematics or Statistics as one of the Subjects in 10+2+3 pattern are eligible to appear and qualify in the written test.

MCA Entrance Exam 2013 Paper:


The test paper will be of multiple choices. There are 3 subjects covered in the test – Mathematical Ability, Elementary Computer Knowledge and Reasoning Aptitude.

JECA MCA 2013



ECA (West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam MCA) is a yearly entrance exam which is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. There are 7 cities in West Bengal in which JECA is conducted: Barddhaman, Durgapur, Krishnagar, Medinipur, Siliguri, Kolkata and Howrah.For admission in to MCA course in various Government and Private Colleges and Universities in West Bengal students have to secure high marks in JECA. The examination provides admission in to all the universities and colleges which are affiliated to AICTE and provide MCA course.

Eligibility:


To apply for JECA a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree with Maths/Statistics as a subject. Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply. There is no age limit for applying in this course.

Availability of Application forms for JECA:

The forms for JECA are expected to be available by May in designated branches of United Bank of India. The form can also be obtained by post from West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.

Important Dates:

•Issue of admission forms: April 1st week, 2013
•Last date for the reception of the admission forms:  First week of May, 2013
•Date of the JECA examination: Second week of June, 2013
•Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 2nd week of May, 2013

JNU 2013 MCA


Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) conducts every year a separate entrance examination for admission to its MCA entrance. MHT CET MCA 2013 Exam Maharashtra Common MCA Entrance Test


The Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra will hold the MAH MCA CET 2013 (Maharashtra – Master of Computer Application – Common Entrance Test)  for admission to MCA Program in Government, University Managed and Unaided Institutes of Maharashtra.  The Candidate from all over India can apply for MAH-CET 2013


Eligibility:

To apply for MAH-MCA-CET a candidate must have a graduate degree with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for Maharashtra Backwards Classes).
Those in the final year of their graduate degree can also apply.


Exam Patterns:

The Entrance exam for MAH MCA CET 2013 will be separated into two parts of 1 hour each.
First Paper will be General Aptitutde and second will Computer Awareness. General Aptitude Paper will consist of Questions from the following: logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning, high school mathematics, vocabulary, English comprehension and verbal ability.
MAH MCA CET 2013 will also be negative marking of 1/4th marks.

Punjab University MCA Entrance Exam 2013


PAM CAT is a yearly entrance exam which can be given by students from all over India.

Eligibility:

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree. In addition for MCA in Guru Nanak Dev University and Punjabi University candidates should have got at least 50% marks in graduation. Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply.

Examination pattern:

Examination will be conducted in 2 parts as follows:

Paper 2: For second paper candidates will have a choice between Mathematics and Computer Science. Second paper will be having 45 minutes contain 50 objective type questions as well.

Pune University 2013 MCA Entrance Exam

pune University conducts an entrance examination for admission to MCA and MSc (Computer Science) courses in various institutes under Pune University. It offers MCA and MSc (Computer Science) course in a number of institutes throughout the state of Maharashtra. The interested students need to work hard to clear this exam.
University of Pune is a highly reputed university and is considered to be one of the most aspired universities for students to study.

Eligibility:

To apply for MCA entrance a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in science (or BCA) with Maths at 10+2 level and for MSc (Computer Science) a candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Those in the final year of their graduation can also apply.

To apply for MCA candidates have to apply online through the website cs.unipune.ernet.in. Whenever the admission portal opens the candidates have to fill in the required details. The payment can be done through credit card/demand draft.

Amrita MCA Entrance Examination 2013 Coimbatore

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University conducts an entrance exam to selects candidate for its MCA program in all four universities in India, they are Amritapuri, Coimbatore in Tamilnadu, Kochi and Mysore in Karnataka. Schools of Arts and Sciences in Kochi and Mysore offers MCA.

Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test (LUCSAT) 2013

Lucknow University Computer Science Admission Test (LUCSAT) is an entrance examination conducted by Lucknow University for admission to MCA course of department of Computer Science in Lucknow University. Lucknow University being one of the largest universities and MCA being such a popular program a large number of students appear for LUCSAT every year so the competition to get admission is quite tough.

There are only 30 seats for MCA course in Lucknow University. MCA in Lucknow University is only open to the candidates who have a BSc(Computer Sc) or BCA degree. Entrance is based on a written test consisting of questions from BSc(Comp. Sc)/BCA Syllabus among other topics. The Institute has been known to undertake the toughest of the entrance exam in order to admit candidates.

Eligibility:

Candidate applying for LUCSAT should either be pursuing B.Sc. BCA of minimum 3 years of duration with minimum of 50% of marks with Mathematics in 10+2 level. Admission of the candidate is in accordance to marks scored in LUCSAT which is of 100 marks. A deduction of 3% marks will be done on the total marks obtained for each gap year while preparing the final merit list.

How to Apply:

Application forms for LUCSAT will be available online through the website www.lkouniv.ac.in. The fee of admission test is Rs. 700/-, which is to be paid by the candidate at the time of submission of the filled form in every respect which is to paid by the candidate by making a demand draft in favour of Finance Officer, University of Lucknow.

The Application form must be filled in Capital letters by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.

The Xerox copy of the properly filled Application Form must be kept by the candidate, which can be treated as the proof of filled form when produced along with postal receipt.

Candidates must write Name and address with phone number on backside of the demand draft. Candidate must mentioned the name of course on top of the envelop Registered Post/Speed Post.

Attested Photo-stat Copies of mark-sheets, testimonials etc. should be enclosed with this application form.

Incomplete application forms will be subjected to rejection. The candidate would have then no claim.

Part – A: 40 Multiple Choice Questions in Total, comprising of Questions based on logical reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, English Comprehension.

National Institute of Technology MCA Common Entrance Test


NIMCET 2013 Eligibility:

The candidate should have obtained 60% marks or equivalent in the +2 and graduation level exams. He/she should have a Bachelor Degree with any one of the subjects: Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Business Statistics, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics and Elementary Statistics.

Rajasthan Master of Computer Applications Admission Test

Rajasthan Master of Computer Applications Admission Test - RMCAAT is organized by Rajasthan Technical University. Institutions and colleges of Rajasthan also offer graduate students direct admission in MCA courses for the vacant seats on the basis of criteria set by RTU. RMCAAT is to select students in Government aided and Private unaided professional institutions of Rajasthan.

The RMCAAT Application Form can be collected from bank (eg. axix/dena/oriental) by just paying Rs.1000 as per RMCAAT 2013 coordinators instructions.
