What is the use of some css code while it is not supported on any major browsers

Hi Friends!!,

Today I was checking complete css reference on http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/default.asp and I found there are many codes which is not mentioned on our course here. I than checked few codes like overflow,rotation,shadows. And there it was clearly mentioned that these code are not supported on major browsers like chrome,opera,IE etc. Than what is the need for these codes and where and when we can use such codes?

If any one of you want to open your view about it, I welcome all.Please feel free to discuss.

Ya some of code won’t work for some browsers,
1. When we can use such type code
It’s depend upon client requirement, if he ask like he need same design look and feel in all browsers then you can’t such type codes, otherwise you can use by targeting some good browsers .

2. How to use
For some code we will get hacking code also which we can make our code work for IE and other browses
