Hi,
to design the banner or logo, you should have to learn photoshop works,
for navigation menu image not only create image, we should have to write codes to work.
i learnt out some graphics techniques and i can create images and logos and icons (such as JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, Animated GIF) myself to my pages and websites too..

i went thro' your first javascript assignment and had a question to ask you, how did you design the logo i.e banner image for your page? similarly for navigation tabs also how to design the images?
