This is to provide the latest news regarding JEE Main 2016 Examination. Entranceindia gives complete and detail information and Latest updates for JEE Main 2016. Central Board of Secondary Examination has confirmed that JEE Main 2016 will be conducted for admissions to the NIT’s & IIT’s. The Official Notification for JEE Main 2016 is likely to be released after 17th November 2015.

JEE Main 2016 Important Dates:

JEE Main 2016 is expected to be conducted in the similar line during first week of April 2016. Announcements for JEE Main 2016 will be made during November 2015 followed by online application form fill up, correction of forms, JEE main admit card download, examination, declaration of result and counseling.

• Online Registration will Start From 2nd Week of November 2015

• Window for Online Registration will Close on 3rd Week of December 2015

• Corrections in Application Form Close on 4th Week of January 2016

• Admit Card of JEE Main 2016 2nd Week of March 2016

• JEE Main 2016 Exam April-May 2016

• JEE Main 2016 Official Answers Key 3rd Week of April 2016

JEE Main 2016 Exam Pattern:

• Mode of Examination: The Paper-I will be held in both Computer Based (CBT) mode and Pen and Paper Mode (P&P).

• Language: The question paper of JEE Main 2016 will be available in English and Hindi language. Last year, the residents of Daman & Diu, Nagar Havel, Gujarat and Dadra were also given Gujarati as a language option and candidate of Maharashtra could also write the paper in Urdu or Marathi.

• Time Limit: Candidates will have three (3) hours to solve all the questions in the exam. However, candidates with physical disability of, or above, 40% will be allotted an extra hour to finish the exam.

• Sections: There will be three sections of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the JEE Main 2016 question paper.

• Question Type: There will 30 questions in each section and it will be of Multiple Choice Type.

• Marking Scheme: The marking scheme of the exam will be +4 and -1/4. This means that four marks will be awarded for marking the correct answer and for marking the incorrect answer 1/4 marks will be deducted.
