How to create a hyperlink for a topic in the same page?

please help me out to create a hyperlink for a topic in the same page.

sir i have a question. suppose we create a hyperlink on the top of a page which on click should direct us to some particular section of the same page say middle of the page. can you tell how to do that ???

Hi Dhananjay

In order to create the hyperlink on the same page, follow the following steps:
1) Name the hyperlink.
<a name="giveName"> Me </a>

2) Give the name to the hyperlink...
<a href="#giveName"> My page </a>
