K.E.I. = (DS^2/C)= ((DS*DS)/C)

In the above formula I am finding difficult to calculate competition from Google AdWords --> Keyword planner, can you help me out with an example.

Hi Muthu,
you can find Competition(C) by searching particular keyword on google after the searching you will get the no of results found on the top of search result this is the Competition(c).
We have the data for monthly world searches from keyword spy tool(google keyword tool is now replaced to keyword planner so one alternate way is keywordspy.com), so when we divide that value with 30 (approx no. of days in a month) , we will obtain the daily world(DS) searches. now use your formula.
Let me know if you have any doubt.

Regard, Navin
