Can I remove text from a jpeg file and use it as text

Hi,

For the last assignment for HTML I have been asked to create a webpage based on a jpeg file. Using paint I removed the picture to be used in my webpage. Is it possible to remove text from a jpeg file and use it as text rather than as picture

I gues i am a bit late in understanding abt the assignments. I have done all the assignments - not worrying abt the look and feel, but concentrating the objects/elements being explained. teh look and feel factor comes in CSS.
For the last assignment, i have done the layouts with some meaning less text.. only concetrating on the layout design.
Can you pls guide / suggest all of us, what all we have to look when submitting a assignment.

Yeah Vinod,

You can remove the text from an image using photoshop and you can use the image as a background in html and write the text over it.

you can't convert an image file into a text file, you could use photoshop for advanced image editing..
