For installing Tomcat.

sir, plz give me the details about installing tomcat....I have registered for the j2ee web development course today...I did not find any videos to guide me...plz guide

first of all download the "apache-tomcat-7.0.35-windows-x64" after that ensure that you have jdk 1.7 install on your system then...now you have to config the environment variables...set JAVA_HOME variable in the Users Environment Variables. Now extract the downloaded tomcat in specific folder... set CATALINA_HOME with value as the path of the tomcat...now restart the system if needed and open the cmd to ensure it is working
