The college offers 8 UG programmes and 7 PG programmes in various disciplines. In order to improve the communication skill of the students, the college has made all arrangements to offer a certificate course in Communicative English approved by Bharathiar University, Coimbatore from 2003-04 onwards. A well furnished language laboratory is also available for this purpose. The institution has got a special course for Communicative English known as Olivia. The college has  got accreditation by NAAC with B++ and a recognition for the quality of education and academic achievement STC has been granted Autonomous status by the UGC in 2008-2009.

The College has established a full-fledged and highly active Placement Cell, which has actively taken up the responsible task of placing the students in leading companies.Students go for higher education not only for graduation, but for jobs and placements. "Will the institution get a job for my son or daughter?" is the first question invariably every parent asks the college authorities before they would admit their children. Realizing this ground reality and the expectations of parents and students STC has established a full-fledged and highly dynamic center for training, placement, and corporate relation, which has taken up the task of training the students by experts from academic and corporate field and placing them in leading organizations like, ABN AMRO, Wipro technologies, TCS, ICICI Bank, Satyam, ICICI Prudential, Tech Mahindra, Cadburys, HSBC, US Technologies, Accenture, Cognizant Technology, iGATE, Eureka Forbes ... etc.
