Established during the academic year 2000-'01 for systematic transformation of the students into highly motivated graduates with professional competence. The college is working with professional competence under the aegis of Jaya Educational Trust, Thiruninravur, Chennai which was found by Prof. A.Kanagaraj.

The college is situated in Poonamallee, 10 Km away from Koyambadu abutting the Chennai to Bangalore Highway and affiliated to Anna University Chennai-25.

The Candidates should have passed the twelth Standard of Tamil Nadu, HSC or an equivalent examination. For all the courses offered, eligibility is prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
The Candidates for admission to the first semester of the Master's Degree programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate Degree Examination of Anna university or any other examination of any university as equivalent thereto.
