Management Studies

Department of Management Studies came into existence recently in the Shree Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), and aims to impart quality management education, to enable the student to be optimally equipped to respond to the changing requirements of the industry in the Indian Inc. The department aims in developing analytical skills, functional skills, operational skills, leadership qualities as well as ethical and moral values within the budding managers. The department comprised with IIM trained faculties who have published thier research work in national and international journals and conventions. The inductive pedagogies like case method, educational games, live projects on market, industries and society are being extensively used to build managing and leadership competence to the students.

The Department offers full-time MBA Program, which is focused on "Management Systems" and is designed to be completed in two years. Semester I and II focuses mainly on the different concepts of general management education to give the students a good grounding in all the functional areas of management study. Semester III and IV provide an in-depth knowledge on various functional area specialization in finance, marketing, information technology, HR etc. The department grooms its students into industry ready proactive future managers.
