Bangalore: Want to prove your writing skills? Write-O-Rama is your chance to prove your mettle.It is a National-level Essay Competition is being held from 1 July 2011 – 30 October 2011, for the final year graduating students from all verticals. This competition provides a platform for the young talent to come and showcase their written skills on a national platform. It's a illustrious opportunity for them to share their views, ideas and opinions on the proposed topics and get feedbacks about it from the experts. The student gets an enormous chance to improve their analytical skills and get national exposure. Creativity is that counts in this competition.

This competition provides the individual to test their caliber, share their opinions with corporate and getting a national visibility.

It is compulsory for every participant to fill in the registration form first in order to submit their essays. Essays from unregistered candidates won't be accepted.

The participants are entitled for just a single entry and the articles are to be submitted at ‘Write o Rama’. There are plenty of topics provided, they are

It is important to note that, the topic you select should be presented in about 1000-1500 words. Essays are accepted in the following formats: doc or docx and language “English “only.
There are certain guideline the candidated need to adhere to
• Last date of essay submission 30th October 2011
• Content original
• One person can submit essay only once for each topic
• If quoting some known person’s statement the name has to be given
• SiliconIndia reserves the right to publish and/or to make available to the public the winning submissions.
• SiliconIndia reserves the right to modify the format and content of the submissions for publication purposes.
• The decision of the Judges panel is final and is not subject to an appeal.
• Employees or Interns of SiliconIndia & its partner companies are not eligible to participate in the competition.
The articles submitted will be evaluated by a panel of judges that consists of editors of SiliconIndia & Directors of Management College. Essays will be graded for their structure and coherence, originality and creativity and the use of thoughtful and concrete proposals/ examples. Essay will also have the weight age of public poll. The clubbed score of public poll & Judges Panel will decide the winner.

The list of finalist will be announced on 14 November, 2011. 43 winners will be chosen and certificates would be handed over to them. 3 National-level winners, 40 zonal certificates will be awarded, 10 each for each of the 4 zones.
