JDBIMS was established on August l7, 1997 with the following objectives to be achieved:

To provide World-class management education for women
To provide a variety of highly specialized areas of management education to meet the specific needs of women
To provide opportunities for women to claim their rightful place in the corporate world through management education
To create new standards and benchmarks in management education

The institute tries to blend traditional Indian culture and value systems with modern management theories and practices to prepare global managers for the future. JDBIMS seeks to provide much needed training to a growing number of women managers who are increasingly coming to the forefront of global business. JDBIMS has been continuously striving ever since its inception, towards excellence in imparting quality management education.
