I am M.Com. Ph.D. (Finance), from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. I have been heading IBS Gurgaon since December 2005.

Before joining IBS Gurgaon in 2003, I was a Professor of Finance at the Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi, South Campus, New Delhi. Earlier, I was also the Head of the Department of Financial Studies and Dean Faculty of Commerce & Business, University of Delhi. I am having a teaching and research experience of nearly 50 years.

I have had the opportunity to present research papers at several International Seminars and Conferences held at Australia, U.K. Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand. Besides, I have also contributed more than forty research papers in journals of repute both in India and abroad. In addition, I have seven books and seven monographs to my credit. I have also completed a Major UGC sponsored research project on “Investment Performance of Mutual funds in India in 1999.” I have also conducted several training programme in India and abroad.
