The School is located adjacent to the DC School of Management and Technology in Vagamon, Idukki, Kerala, where scenic beauty and a tranquil setting creates an excellent learning atmosphere. All the infrastructure facilities and amenities required in a top educational institute such as lecture halls, auditorium, library, multimedia centre etc. are all accommodated in the 30 acre campus.
The learning approaches adopted here are unique. With constant interaction between the teachers and students the campus forms the platform for a dynamic learning process. The students acquire a rich knowledge base and well honed skills through a fine tuned curriculum, effective teaching methodology and value added programmes. Practical knowledge and a better understanding of real time issues is gained through industry interaction, debates, workshops, seminars and several other activities. Promoted by the DC Kizhakemuri Foundation and DC Books, the Business School finds its inspiration from the founder of the DC Group of Institutes, DC Kizhakemuri (1914-1999), who was also a publisher, writer, an ardent freedom fighter and a great visionary.
The DCSMAT Business School is one among the three management institutions under the DCSMAT wing. The other two Institutions are:

Affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, the DC School of Management and Technology, Vagamon which started in September 2002, runs a two year full time residential MBA course. It is also an accredited Research Centre (Management) under the Mahatma Gandhi University.
The DCSMAT Media School was started in September 2006 and offers AICTE approved two year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management. The 75 acre campus is situated in KINFRA Film and Video Park, Trivandrum.

A top business institute approved and recognized by the AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, the DCSMAT Business School at Vagamon offers 2 year fully- residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) courses. The course is among the few that are AICTE approved and which stand equal to an MBA in India and abroad.
With constant guidance and support from highly qualified teachers and the utilization of interactive teaching techniques, DCSMAT Business School has taken management education to the next level. Case methods and other experiential methods of learning, study of industry specific topics and training in soft skills help the students in developing an in-depth knowledge in the subject.

Every year the set of competencies are upgraded as per the industry trends to maintain the School as an optimized training facility.
The students are given continuous feedback on their performance. Counseling and training for skill enhancement are also offered in the School. Appraisal reports are sent out to the parents to keep them updated on their ward’s performance.
