Established as a private maritime institute through AMET Trust with just 14 cadets in 1993, AMET has, through its uncompromising strides of excellence and ambitious zeal to serve the students and nation, transformed into the first university for maritime education in India On 21th August 2007 with a strength touching upon a proud 4000 enrolled in different intensively maritime and marine related UG and PG programmes.

Application Forms can be collected from our Campus/ City Office on all days except Sundays/ National Holidays from
9 am to 7 pm. Please bring Rs.1000/- cash or Bank Draft for Rs.1000/- drawn on Chennai favouring Amet University.
OBTAINING APPLICATION FORM THROUGH POST
Application forms can be obtained through Post/ Courier. Please obtain a Bank draft drawn on Chennai for Rs. 1000/-
favouring Amet University and courier it to us ( to our City office address given below). Please mention on the reverse of
the draft your name/ cell number/ course selected. We will courier/ speed post the Application form/ Information
Booklet/ Brochure to you.
OBTAINING APPLICATION FORM THROUGH SELECT BANK BRANCHES
You can also walk in to select Bank branches of Indian Overseas Bank and Corporation Bank, pay Rs.1000/- at the counter and collect the full Prospectus Set. This facility is available till June end of 2013
