Alstom, renowned for its smart and eco-friendly transportation solutions, and NSRCEL, the startup hub affiliated with IIM Bangalore, are thrilled to unveil the second phase of their Sustainability Incubation Program. This initiative is designed to aid pioneering startups dedicated to tackling climate change and resolving diverse sustainability issues. The program is focused on nurturing the growth, expansion, and market assimilation of technological innovations that substitute high-emission, energy-intensive, and non-recyclable products.
The Sustainability Incubation Program holds a significant role in aiding startups to develop sustainable technology, establish conducive policy frameworks, and create scalable business models prioritizing climate-focused solutions. Specifically designed to support startups in their early revenue phases, the program will concentrate on pioneering innovations spanning green manufacturing, mobility infrastructure, energy, renewables, climate technology, alternative fuels, and vehicle technology.
Olivier LOISON, Managing Director at Alstom India, emphasized, “Being a frontrunner in sustainable mobility, the NSRCEL Sustainability Incubation program is a cornerstone of Alstom’s investments focusing on impact within the country. Following the success of the initial phase, we're eager to broaden the program's scope to encompass sustainability comprehensively. The second phase aims to address India’s climate challenges positively, and we eagerly anticipate witnessing these solutions reach their maximum potential”.
