The country was expecting a lot from their wrestling contingent at Rio Olympics, but there were many setbacks and India’s medal tally was fixed on zero. Then Sakshi Malik, a wrestler from Rohtak, Haryana came into the picture. She won a bronze medal in 58 kg category and became a first Indian female wrestler to win an Olympics medal.
