Soumitra Dutta

Soumitra Dutta, 55 as of 2019, is an electrical engineering graduate from India who served as the Dean of the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University.

Dutta earned his B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from IIT, Delhi, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and M.S. in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.

In 1989, Dutta joined INSEAD at Fontainebleau near Paris as an Assistant Professor, starting a 23-year stint at the prestigious institution. He also served as a visiting professor at Oxford and Cambridge universities in the U.K. and the Haas Business School at the University of California.

G 'Anand' Anandalingam

G 'Anand' Anandalingam has served in the position of Dean at the Smith School of Business at Maryland from 2007 to 2013.

Anandalingam identified sustainable innovation as a priority in developing business leaders, foreseeing the diverse and fluctuating challenges of the global 21st-century economy.

He held various pivotal leadership roles, including that of the senior associate dean of the Smith School's Decision, Operations and Information Technologies department.

Anandalingam started his academic career as an assistant professor at the University of Virginia. He received his Ph.D. and M.S. from Harvard University and his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Cambridge University.
