Virat Kohli Tops Celebrity Brand Valuation at $227.9 Million
Cricketer Virat Kohli has reclaimed the top position with a brand value of $227.9 million, surpassing Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh, who holds the second spot at $203.1 million, according to Kroll's latest celebrity brand valuation report, Brands, Business, Bollywood.
The study ranks India’s most influential celebrity brands based on their endorsement portfolios and social media presence. In 2023, the collective brand value of the top 25 Indian celebrities reached $1.9 billion, marking an 18% increase from the previous year.
Shah Rukh Khan secured the third position with a brand value of $120.7 million, buoyed by three blockbuster films in 2023, making his return to India’s top five celebrity endorsers since 2020. Akshay Kumar dropped to fourth place with a brand value of $111.7 million, while Alia Bhatt advanced to the fifth spot with a brand value of $101.1 million.
Significant movements in the rankings include Kiara Advani’s rise from 16th to 12th place and Katrina Kaif’s return to the list of India’s most valued celebrity brands after five years.

The year 2023 saw Bollywood’s robust comeback, with record-breaking blockbusters exceeding the $100 million mark, reaffirming Bollywood’s leading role in the film industry. The combination of celebrity entrepreneurship, global star advocacy, and Bollywood’s resurgence is set to transform the entertainment and business sectors".
