World's Top 10 Mobile Phone Manufacturers


#9 Sony

The Japanese manufacturer  occupied the ninth place in the global sales despite its supreme design and quality make. The Japanese manufacturer sold 37.59 million units in 2013 tallying to 2.1 percent of the mobile sold worldwide. However, Sony is, perhaps, rejoicing as it managed through the top 10 list unlike 2012.

#8 Lenovo

Lenovo occupied position number eight in the top 10 list pushing out BlackBerry forever. The phone manufacturer successfully sold out 45.28 million pieces of their device and has a strong presence in the Chinese mobile phone market. When compared to 2012, Lenovo accounted for 2.5 percent of the global mobile phone sales.  

#7 TCL

The Chinese multinational electronics company has a successful story to narrate when it comes to their handset division. TCL sold 49.53 million pieces of their handset bagging the 7th position in the list. The mobile manufacturer has shown great improvement in the global sales share occupying 2.7 percent the previous year.
