Motorola Moto G Dual-SIM Gets Android KitKat Update In India


Bangalore: The dual SIM variant of the recently launched Smartphone, Moto G from Motorola mobility managed to receive the Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update. The roll out weighs 230 Mega Bits and updates the gadget with a bucketful of features, reports IndiaTV.

The updation is good enough to leave your Moto G dual SIM Smartphone with a new dialer app, SMS and MMS integration and new editing feature. The rollout also includes the latest features for printing via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Google Cloud Print. A redesigned status bar, much more efficient battery and an array of colored emojis are also packed in the update providing all the necessary needs of the gadget.

Motorola Moto-G can be updated manually by clicking on the ‘About Phone’ menu under ‘settings’. Select ‘System Updates’ and tap on the download option  to get the update downloaded to  your phone  and can be installed  to use.

Currently, the phone is exclusively available on Flipkart.com and comes in 8GB and 16GB variants. Moto G houses a 4.5-inch screen at a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The gadget runs on a Quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM. A 5MP rear camera with LED flash assists in taking snaps and the 1.3MP front facing unit helps in video calling.
