#4 Jigsee by Vuclip

Jigsee, an Indian startup that offers video streaming facility was acquired by one of the world’s largest media company, Vuclip. The acquisition took place in February 2013 however the sum of the deal was not revealed. The firm was founded by Ray Nehwal, a former Yahoo employee and received its first round of funding in 2010 and a second round of $1 million in 2012.

 

#5 Converged Solutions by Comguard

Converged Solutions, a Bangalore based IT distributions company was acquired by Comgaurd India, a value added distributor of global networking and security products a part of the Dubai based Spectrum Group of companies. With the acquisition that happened in April 2013, Comguard was able to expand their presence in India by stepping into a new vertical of voice and data.
