Desai was appointed President, CTO, and interim CEO of the company in August, 1995. In January, 1996, he was appointed CEO, and in May, 1999, he became Chairman of the Board. In November, 2010, he was appointed Executive Chairman. In this role, HK actively engages with strategic customers, technology and product roadmaps, as well as program and product execution priorities.

About Us

QLogic was founded in 1992 and went public on the NASDAQ stock exchange in 1994 after being spun off by Emulex; now a competitor of QLogic in the Fibre Channel HBA market. QLogic's original business was disk controllers but this division was sold to Marvell in 2005.Using a protocol- agnostic approach, QLogic provides end-to-end, integrated solutions that address the broad networking spectrum, including high performance networking and application acceleration solutions sold as adapters, switches and ASICs. Today, QLogic continues to be publicly traded on NASDAQ in the American stock exchange under the symbol QLGC.
