World's Top 10 Politicians Who Won the Nobel Prize



Jimmy Carter
The 39th President of U.S. received the Nobel Prize in 2002, the first U.S. President to be awarded the prize after leaving the office. He was awarded for his relentless efforts in ensuring peaceful solutions to international conflicts, advocating human rights and democracy, also for promoting economic and social development. Jimmy Carter has traveled all through his life to conduct peaceful negotiations and was an active participant in devising plans to fight terror and eradicating diseases around the world.

Al Gore
The 45th Vice president of U.S., Albert Arnold Gore widely known as Al Gore held office under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 2001 is on the list too. He won the Nobel Prize for his work on organizing public awareness on Global Warming even though he was levied with severe criticism for his work. There have been arguments about whether his work regarding Global Warming serves all the criteria’s for the prize.
