Top 6 IaaS Competitors in Cloud Platform

#3. Microsoft Windows Azure:

Microsoft’s Windows Azure, along with other companies, is considered as the next big thing in cloud computing. Although launched in 2010, it took couple of years for Microsoft to finalize on which platform that they should concentrate. Initially Microsoft was clearly confused with PaaS and IaaS. But as of now, last month Microsoft made their ground breaking announcement that they are all set to launch their first IaaS offerings, clearly revealing their intentions to compete with Amazon Web Services. Microsoft started Windows Azure as a .Net development platform, so it’s already been clear that Microsoft developers have unscathed-rich resources in application development. Recently Microsoft announced that they are working to better the versions in operating systems like Windows Server- Hyper V and System Center. Analysts have exclaimed that this move should smoothen up the conjunction of both Microsoft’s private and public clouds. Except for NoSQL service, Microsoft comes up with both relational and in-memory cache database services.
