It's Raining Applications! Kochi Startup Village On An Incubating Spree
On the other hand, the startup village has boosted the morale of students across the state. The welcoming attitude of the incubator and creative ideas from student entrepreneurs, especially the engineering graduates are collectively enhancing the entrepreneurship eco system in Kerala. It has nurtured popular startups like Innoz, Wow Makers and MindHeliz Technologies and is looking forward to build and nurture various other startups in the future.
The idea for a startup incubator in Kochi was conceived after the success of business incubator centre that was launched in 2006. The startup village welcomes engineering students and other graduates to the village. The available office space of 4000 square meters at KINFRA already homes 4 startups while others have their offices at homes or garages. However, the virtually incubated ones receive the same attention from the board like the ones who are physically available in the campus.
