Meghna Jaswal and Mira Jhala, together started the catering services business. In less than 3 years their venture became the in-house catering partners for many corporates in Gurgaon. Urban Kitchen serves 3,000 meals a day offering a range of services that include breakfast, lunch, late-night snacks, dinner, corporate events and tuck shops. The venture has an annual turnover of Rs 3 crore.

"It is interesting to see how more and more professionals are ready to give up the comfort of a monthly pay cheque and start their own ventures in Gurgaon," says Jhala.
