Tina Scott Parashar makes creative and customized cakes, her ideal clients in Gurgaon are large corporates and young professionals. Along with birthday cakes for children, she also makes all kinds of specialized cakes for all occasions, including engagements and weddings.
"Doing customized cakes gave me the perfect opportunity to combine my love for baking and creativity. I put some pictures of my initial work on Facebook and soon orders started coming in," says Parashar. "I get orders for all kinds of cakes with customized designs for different occasions," she says.

Samudra Gupta and Amitayu Basu started the software venture. They chose Gurgaon as it provided a cheaper option as compared to other big cities, in terms of rental costs, infrastructure and 24X7 power back-up. The venture had good response from IT graduates from various cities in north India.
"We are also notching up a 100% year-on-year growth and we hope to open our second office in Dubai soon," says Basu.
"We focus on specific IT skills that we require and aggressively go for campus interviews to different colleges across the area, this is a hub for young people and offers lots of lifestyle advantages to them." says Gupta.
