10 Google Bombs That Will Stay Infamous

3. Bill O'Reilly

In 2005, Daily Kos, an American political blog called its readers to Google bomb the name Bill O'Reilly as "terrorist sympathizer" in response to the comment made by this famous political commentator of Fox News: "If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it. We're going to say, look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead."

As a result, the search for “terrorist sympathizer” still displays O'Reilly's website as the top result.

4. Microsoft

The Google bomb against Microsoft in 1999 was considered as the first one in history. Any search for "more evil than Satan himself" resulted in the Microsoft home page as the top result. It is one of the first successful Google bombing campaigns.
