#4 IBM Pavilion

Place: New York (World Fair)

Year of Completion: 1964

This structural wonder was built by Charles Eames and Eero Saarinen in the year 1964. The IBM Pavilion was built at the 1964 World’s Fair, which was held at New York. The Pavilion had a unique style of engineering where the building was architected in the shape of an egg, surrounded by man-made steel trees. The structure had the letters ‘IBM’ craved throughout its body and it encompassed of a multi screen projection theatre.

#5 IBM Gardens

Place: Armonk, New York

Year of Completion: Mid 1960s

One of IBMs priced possessions, the gardens at IBM's corporate headquarters in Armonk, New York is considered as one of the most intellectual and eco-friendly planned gardens to be built in a corporate facility. Constructed by noted and very famous Japanese-American artist and landscape architect- Isamu Noguchi, the site was finished by mid 1960s.
